Ottawa police are still searching for a 62-year-old man who has been missing for three days. Danny Foss was last seen in the Greely area on September 11. Authorities have released details about a vehicle that may be connected to his disappearance. Foss is believed to be driving a grey 2013 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Ontario licence plate 639 6ZR.
Officers have not yet located Foss, and no signs of him have been found. The police department issued a news release on September 14, urging the public to report any sightings. The search continues as investigators work to determine his whereabouts.
Separately, an inquest has been announced into the death of Gregory Ritchie, a 30-year-old Ojibwe man. The Ontario coroner will examine the circumstances surrounding his death, which occurred in Ottawa. While both cases involve Ottawa, they are separate incidents with different outcomes.
The ongoing search for Foss highlights the challenges faced by law enforcement in locating missing persons. Authorities remain cautious and have not ruled out any possibilities.
