Zonda Tech Ghana has expanded its assembly plant with the launch of Phase III, marking a significant step in the company's efforts to boost local manufacturing and economic growth. The initiative, announced by the company, aligns with broader goals to support education, vocational training, and women’s empowerment in the country. President John Dramani Mahama has proposed a salary-based vehicle financing plan, allowing workers to use a portion of their income to purchase locally assembled cars. This plan is designed to make car ownership more accessible to Ghanaian workers while supporting the growing local automotive industry. The expansion of Zonda Tech’s facilities reflects the government’s push for industrialization and self-reliance, with the aim of reducing dependency on imported vehicles. The new phase of the assembly plant is expected to create more jobs and contribute to the country’s economic development.
