Casio has announced a new collaboration with Tokyo-based streetwear brand BlackEyePatch, launching a limited-edition G-Shock watch featuring a bold gold-and-black design. The watch, based on the classic DW-5600 model, is now available on Casio’s UK website. The collaboration marks the third joint effort between the two brands, blending streetwear aesthetics with Casio’s iconic G-Shock functionality.
The new model, named the G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9, includes features such as 200-meter water resistance, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a multifunction alarm. It also features an LED Super Illuminator for enhanced visibility. The design incorporates a gold-tone bezel, offering a striking contrast against the black dial.
In addition to this collaboration, Casio is reportedly preparing a high-end G-Shock model, the MR-G, with a sapphire case. Limited to just 20 units worldwide, the watch is expected to retail for around 10 million yen, making it one of the most expensive G-Shock models ever produced. This new release coincides with the 30th anniversary of the G-Shock line.
