Ayanda Allie, a former member of the Gauteng Legislature for Build One South Africa (BOSA), has officially joined ActionSA, the political party led by Herman Mashaba. The move comes just a week after she was dismissed from BOSA, reportedly due to a dispute over a salary levy. Allie has been appointed as ActionSA’s Gauteng elections ambassador, tasked with promoting the party’s municipal election campaigns in the region (mg.co.za).
Mashaba, who has been closely following Allie’s political career, stated that he had been considering her for ActionSA since 2025. He claimed that Allie had been underutilized by BOSA, which failed to recognize her potential. Allie, now part of ActionSA, has expressed confidence in her new political home, stating it will be her final stop in politics (sundayworld.co.za).
ActionSA president Herman Mashaba also clarified that Allie will not be required to pay party tithes while working with the organization. Any future contributions will depend on whether she holds a public office, according to Mashaba (iol.co.za).
